我是歐陽弘（Hung），很高興擔任台北市華中扶輪社（下稱：華中社）第27屆的社長。我們華中社向來重視二件事情，一為公益，二為聯誼。我們每一屆的社長都凝聚社友的力量進行公益活動，透過攜手公益活動而增加社友彼此的感情，進一步轉化成為我們規劃下一次公益活動的動力。若你的人生需要增加更多的色彩，加入華中社絕對是一個正確的選擇。

在公益方面，華中社在有關健康醫療的肝病防治與腎臟病防治上不遺餘力，多年來持續配合醫療財團法人好心肝基金會與財團法人腎臟病防治基金會，對弱勢團體及偏鄉民眾提供免費的疾病篩檢，並追蹤其治療情況以達到永續的目的。華中社也經常主動規劃或偕同參與淨灘、敬老、偏鄉教育等不同面向的公益活動，呈現多元的色彩。

在聯誼方面，華中社一般每週進行一次的例會，每一年均安排社員進行職業參訪或旅遊活動，海內外均有之。華中社也與金蘭社即台南成大扶輪社、姊妹社香港都會扶輪社與日本掛川扶輪社有良好的互動，彼此學習扶輪經驗，成為一同進行公益活動的最大助力。華中扶輪社友間的感情，堅定不移。

更重要的是，華中社社員的向心力極強，可說與眾不同，且對於朋友一向伸出友誼的手，充滿關懷與熱忱。我從接觸華中社的那一瞬間就有此感觸。

我是歐陽弘，2024-25年度擔任華中社社長，感謝各位的信任，我深切期許華中的精神可以再一次打動人心，成為我們的榮耀。

I am Hung OU YANG ("Hung"). I am very pleased to serve as the 27th president of the Rotary Club of Taipei Hwa Chung ("Hwa Chung Club").  Hwa Chung Club has always put great importance on two things, public welfare and fellowship. For public welfare, every one of our former presidents has gathered the strength of our members to carry out charity events. By joining hands in charity events, the fellowship of our members have also been increased and further transformed into the driving force for us to arrange the next charity event. If you, who is reading this, wish to make your life more colorful, joining Hwa Chung Club is definitely the right choice.

In regard to public welfare, Hwa Chung Club has spared no effort in the prevention and treatment of liver and kidney diseases. Over the years, Good Liver Foundation and Taiwan Kidney Foundation have been our faithful partners in providing free screening of diseases to disadvantaged groups and rural people, and further tracking their treatments for the purpose of sustainability. Hwa Chung Club also often takes the initiative to plan or participate in other public welfare activities such as beach cleaning, caring for the elderly, and rural education, showing a diversity of our ambitions in terms of public welfare.

As to fellowship, Hwa Chung Club holds regular meetings for club members once a week, and arranges professional visits or travel activities every year for our members, both at home and abroad. Hwa Chung Club also has good interactions with our brothers, the Rotary Club of Tainan Cherngta, and sister clubs, like the Rotary Club of Metropolitan based in Hong Kong and the Rotary Club of Kakegawa based in Japan. We learn from each other's experience in Rotary Clubs and have become the greatest support for each other's joining force in charity events. The bonds among members of Hwa Chung Club are unwavering.

More importantly, the members of Hwa Chung Club share a very strong centripetal force, which is unique, and always extend a hand of friendship to our friends, full of care and enthusiasm. I felt this clearly from the moment of my first contact with Hwa Chung Club.

I am Hung OU YANG, who will serve as the president of Hwa Chung Club in 2024-25. Thank you for your trust. I sincerely hope that the spirit of Hwa Chung Club will continue to touch people's hearts, which will be our honor.
